We have cruised several cruise lines, (Royal Carribean, Carnival, Norwegian, etc.)by far, this was the worst cruise ever. The service for our cabin was horrible. Had to look for the cabin attendant several times. 1st only gave us 1 washcloth, 2nd replinished towels with a wet one, had to be told twice to replenish the toiletries! Then the toilet would not flush, although it was repaired. The food on the buffet was unseasoned, often cold, and they would run out of items! When we landed on the private island, we were served cold sandwiches (nothing grilled) with smears of tuna salad or two thin slices of turkey on huge buns. Many people took pictures of their sandwiches for complaints.
The guests relations persons were rude, on the concert nights, the ushers who were to control entries into the theaters were inadequate. This was a theme cruise (The Soul Train Cruise), and the majority of the passengers were African Americans. I mentioned this, because hopefully, this was not the reason for the horrible service. Most of the ship's personnel were unfriendly, uncaring, and unhelpful.
The only two highlights were our two waiters in the main dining room. I prebooked for the next Soul Train cruise, because of the entertainment. If this happens again, I will never cruise celebrity again.!
