We were not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. Decor is attractive and reflective of ship's name. We enjoyed the large murals on stairways and had little trouble getting elevators when we wanted them. Every crew member we had contact with was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient, and our cabin was kept clean, well-stocked, and we received anything we asked for quickly and with a smile. The food wasn't as gourmet as on other cruises, but there were plenty of options and we had no trouble finding lots to eat. The only specialty restaurant we went to was Little Italy, which was excellent and well worth the extra $10, we thought. We had cars rented on every island (through Hawaiidrive-o.com)and also did 3 tours through the ship, so we felt that we really saw and experienced a lot of the islands by the time our week was over. We also flew into Honolulu two days early and strongly recommend that to deal with the travel/time issues before boarding the ship. The processes of boarding and leaving the ship were extremely well organized and we never had to wait to get on or off. Our main complaint would be that every communication we received from the ship seemed designed to sell us something...and we also felt that the pricing for beverages (other than water and iced tea...when we could find it) was extremely inflated. I highly recommend purchasing the books by Andrew Doughty - Oahu Revealed, Hawaii Revealed, Kauai Revealed and Maui Revealed - unbelievably great reading and such detail, maps, recommendations, etc.
Small but well-organized, except we had adjoining cabin w/friend and could not walk thru cabin when door open between rooms. Bathroom okay but shower really small.
