We (2 adults and 2 kids -11 and 9) sailed on the Dawn from Feb 7-14 and have to say that we really enjoyed the cruise. Yes, the ship is a bit dated, but we found it to be exceptionally clean and the service was TOP NOTCH. Our rate included the ultimate beverage package for the adults and soda package for the kids and the kids sailed free....so we got our $$$$ worth.

We opted to eat in 3 speciality restaurants: Cagney's, LeBistro and Moderno. We are foodies...and have to say that these restaurants were great. The steak in LeBistro may have been the best filet that I have ever eaten. And again, the service was fantastic. The kids enjoyed the selection at the buffets and there was always fresh foods coming out.

The entertainment outside by the pool was above average with plenty of servers brining drinks and others bussing tables. Bartenders were friendly and quick. Our head room attendant, Mark, was OUTSTANDING. Always had a smile on his face, greeted us by name, and assured that our every need was taken care of. For the price that we paid, the cruise was a success. We attended several shows and found them to be quite entertaining. We did not book excursions through the ship, but opted to booked them ourself and saved $$$ by doing so.
