P&O Aria - ship so bad it should not be allowed at sea

I had the displease of sailing on the Pacific Aria from Brisbane on the 27th Dec15 - we were told this ship was brand new and was christened in Sydney harbour along with the Eden just prior to xmas....WRONG.. WRONG .. WRONG THIS WAS A VERY OLD 30YR + EX-HOLLAND LINE CRUISE SHIP WITH A FACE LIFT OVER THE CRAP.

*Every orifice of the ship leaked from day one

Cabin Review

Cabin window

Average to poor at best, smelt of old carpet, window had 4" of blue sealant all the way around it.

No special pillows or mattress toppers available at all

No fridge in the room

Port Reviews

Cairns

We booked online before travelling but P&O didn't have our booking - Hamilton Island all trips were cancelled it was bad wether, (not ships fault)

Cairns - we arrived 6 hours late after circling at sea as captain said winds too high to get ship into port - locals said there was no wind.

The ship was so old it probably didn't have modern equipment like side thrusters so allow us into port other than perfect weather.

Typical, we in Austral get dumped with the crap the no one else wants.
