Average to poor at best, smelt of old carpet, window had 4" of blue sealant all the way around it.
No special pillows or mattress toppers available at all
No fridge in the room

We booked online before travelling but P&O didn't have our booking - Hamilton Island all trips were cancelled it was bad wether, (not ships fault)

Cairns - we arrived 6 hours late after circling at sea as captain said winds too high to get ship into port - locals said there was no wind. 

The ship was so old it probably didn't have modern equipment like side thrusters so allow us into  port other than perfect weather.

Typical, we in Austral get dumped with the crap the no one else wants.

*Every orifice of the ship leaked from day one

*cabins flooded over 100 we heard, 

*the pantry (food court) had 30-40 buckets catching water from roof leaks the whole cruise, and one food outlet was shut down due to water running over equipment.*the main dining room had water poring in from the deck doors, the staff were wading in knee deep water going in at out to the deck area and towels per piled up at the doors trying to stop it - our towels, white one the go in our bathrooms, this was the first night,

* the first morning at breakfast we were sat at a table right next to these doors and the carpet oozed at our feet, there were 4 of us, the table was only big enough for 2 people and the rest of the dining room was 90% empty.
