This was our seventh cruise with P&O and was the first for two years. This was the first time on Azura but we have been on Ventura twice and the rest were on Oceana which was our favourite.
My first observation was how much had changed in the two years. There were a lot of niggling things, to of the lifts were not working throughout the cruise, if there is one thing to get the backs up of passengers its waiting for lifts. The ship looked worn, our cabin E416 was allocated and was scruffy, cigarette burn on the basin. It just looked a lot older than 6 years.
The policy on alcohol had changed , now being allowed to bring your own on board, the spirit measure in all bars is 25 ml and 35 ml for fortified wines. For a decent drink of spirits a double is the order of the day which becomes ultra expensive.
This was allocated , it was a cabin with two foldaway bunk beds which our heads collided with on more than one occassion. It would not have been our choice and as previously stated looked tired.
