Admittedly we were spoiled with the excellent weather conditions but our cruise was great. I read some of the negative reviews before we went and to be honest I was feeling really nervous. The embarkation check in wasn't Good and they have a lot to learn from the airlines however from the minute we arrived on board there was very little to complain about. Our cabin was very clean and comfy - ok the shower would be tight if you were a larger person but everything else was fine. We had tea/coffee making facilities (the tea and coffee provided are a bit rough but we took our own so not a problem) The food in both the restaurant and buffet was good quality with plenty of variety and healthy options always available. The public areas were well maintained and clean and the majority of the staff friendly and helpful- of course with a staff of 700 plus there's bound to be the odd exception. Entertainment was great - the ships orchestra amazing and clearly very passionate about their performances. Great dance and music acts (hypnotist and magician a bit dodgy). Plenty to do on board and free drinks and snacks always available. Alcohol was probably averaging at pub/hotel prices but if you don't want to pay it don't buy it. (Tip - You can take 2 bottles of wine with you when you first board) The one thing we found irritating were the constant art sales and sales pitches onboard but again you have a choice if you buy or not. One recommendation is that you don't book the shore excursions through Royal Caribbean - check out the local options as the cruise line's are priced in American dollars they are definitely expensive - often double the cost of arranging them yourself. Disembarkation was very well organised and easy.

Cabin H

Comfortable, clean and well looked after by Katut our cabin attendant. Only fault - dodgy hairdryer.

Check in for embarkation is a painful experience- even if you check in on line first its still a lengthy disorganised process. Fortunately the luggage drop off is the first and most efficient part.
