The ship

I really liked the ship, actually. Yes, there are design flaws which have been mentioned previously on other posts. However, we read those posts before booking and reserved a cabin near the aft elevators and it was perfect for us.

As has been mentioned before- deck 7 is your friend as it goes all the way from the bow to the stern. There is more walking involved on this ship due to the design if you are trying to avoid the mid ship elevators. However, for us, that was a good thing considering all the food that we ate..On our last cruise on the Crown Princess, I found that the food in the Horizon Buffet was very disappointing,. However, I would go so far as to say that the food in this Horizon Cafe was even better than the dining room. We also took sandwiches and salads from the International Cafe and ate on our balcony many days. This was very easy to do, due to our cabin location.

Port Reviews

Aruba

We took the #10 bus up to the De Palm Pier and walked along the pathway beside the ocean. We enjoyed looking at all the resorts and stopped for a cool drink at the end of the de Palm pier.

Grenada

I had a bad experience on Grenada with Sunsation tours because the driver drove very fast around all the hairpin turns on the mountains and we really did not get out of the van much. The island itself is beautiful in the interior.
