Beautiful ship but lacking in some areas; Mini Suite not worth the extra $.

Ship was very well trimmed out, nice atrium, good finishing touches in lighting, molding etc. Excellent food and entertainment. WiFi was good and convenient thru a neat smart phone app. Cabin service was excellent. Dining room service a little slow (similar to other lines that have cut wait staff).

Benefits with mini suites not as good. On RCI & Celeb mini suite folks/Diamond status or better get access to a exclusive lounge with call brand free drinks (even doubles) and Hors d'oeuvres 4-8pm daily plus on Celeb you get a exclusive dining room for mini suite and full suite guests. On Princess you only get reduced price drinks for 1 hr. at a lounge with cheap limited Hors d'oeuvres that are parceled out like they're being rationed. Only FULL suite guests paying the big bucks get access to the Concierge lounge with all the goodies.

Elite status on Princess doesn't help - only gets you reduced prices on happy hour watered down drinks. Oh and stay away from the overpriced gelato bar. Worst we've ever had on any ship. They'd do better getting their gelato at WalMart.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Stayed in a jr suite/mini suite on deck 15. Not a good value compared to RCI & Celeb. Sq. ft. is larger than a balcony cabin BUT it is in the length of the cabin not width. Princess mini suites are only just as wide as a balcony cabin, same small veranda, same small closet with no doors, slightly larger bath with full tub. Thus you feel almost as cramped. Mini suites on RCI & Celebrity are much roomier (about 1 1/2x wider) with larger verandas, full walk in closets, larger marble bathroom & full size tub.
