OK, everyone has a different experience on the same ship, I know that. My wife and I have been on over 40 cruises, many on NCL, but this one was a disappointment.
I gave the food barely a letter grade of C (which means there were plenty of Ds and a couple Fs and naturally some Bs and only a couple As). With the exception of Le Bistro (A) and Versailles (B), I'd rather not go back to any of the other dining rooms. The ship décor is wholly uninspired. The Market Buffet has no character; the food is adequate. The feel of the ship in inward oriented. No crowsnest-type lounges looking out to sea (cant imagine this closeted ship being in Alaska where outward views are essential). Ala carte is likely not going to work well. There are now just 5 complimentary dining options AND even those have an upcharge for certain items.
Good points: embark and debark was amongst the best we've seen. Forward top deck excellent layout for sun bathing. A bit windy but very nice.
Forward Balcony. So why cant they put in a few more shelves and cabinets? Other lines do and it would be so easy. Shower stall one of the most spacious we've seen. Worst bed ever! Best pillow ever! See, something for everyone to praise and complain about:)
