Was told to arrive at pier at 12 Noon, pleasant reception staff, efficient, but they had no information about boarding time. Nobody from Azamara made any announcements about the day for about two hours, and told us boarding would be at 5PM. They did provide lite refreshments.
The crew was exceptional except for the future cruise desk. Because of the many mistakes sill not corrected from the dry dock, including a pole falling off the wall twice in our cabin, Azamara announced they would give an additional 20% discount, next day changed to an additional 30% for any future cruise booked on board.Went to the future cruise desk at the appointed time and nobody was there, they were at a crew party. There were plenty of peop[le waiting, no future appointment slips available and no brochures. An officer stopper by, was crude and rude and told us the reservation was at a party and would return shortly. We waited 30 minutes for her to return. Finicky a person on line the best day spoke to the Captain, who contacted Miami and they extended the offer for one week after we returned.
The food in the main dining room was excellent and the two speciality restaurants provided excellent service and food.Shore excursions were of poor quality and extremely expensive.
