Sail Date: Jan 2016

January 31 – Feb 7, 2016. Ft. Lauderdale, Nassau, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Ft. Lauderdale

This is an amazing ship that never fails to impress with its seemingly endless amenities and technical sophistication. We traveled in a group of 15. Five couples are long-time high school friends in our early to mid-60s. The others were a family of five, a child and son-in-law couple with their 3 children aged 14 and under. This age mix gave us a good perspective on the desirability of the largest cruise ship on the seas with an announced 6,260 passengers on our cruise! We are all veteran cruisers (one couple with about 30 cruises to their credit, another with about 12 and the rest in the 6 – 8 range). Here is my take on various aspects of the Allure experience (I’m 62).
