We were on the Jewel the first time back in October. At that time, we were pleasantly surprised. However, this trip was differently. Food was less than average in the buffet, often choices were there just to fill the empty spots. Deserts are absolutely the worse than any cruise line or ship we have taken in 30+ years. Breakfast was always a feeding frenzy and staff was less than pleasant. Staff, including officers, didn't acknowledge you in passing, and it appeared that most were rather unhappy. One waitress in the main dining room was actually rude. Entertainment was good, and we were always typically to find seating in the 2nd show. Disappointed that movies were non existent when we always find an added treat. Their daily service charge is definitely a disconnect with the service and quality we received.
