Sail Date: Apr 2004

As my husband and I had sailed with Princess previously, we were excited about the new Caribbean Princess, and we were on the first sailing of this new ship to the Eastern Caribbean.

This ship is so similar in layout to the Grand Princess - made it easy to find our way around.

Big disappointment: the entertainment, or lack thereof. I was so bored with the main shows that I left early! The musical reviews were actually childish and poorly presented; Bert Stratton in the Martini Lounge was very entertaining, but his presentation was the same every night and by the end of the cruise I knew exactly what was coming next. The American Idol experience was actually glorified karaoke; if you didn't sing, you couldn't be in the show. There were some talented people onboard, so at least the final show wasn't a waste. The "Vista Lounge" is a joke....where's the Vista? Can't see around the huge supports!
