The ship is fantastic! Our first Viking experience, this was the centerpiece of a 45 day "Grand Tour". The crew is outstanding, friendly, attentive and eager to please. The cabins are very comfortable and quiet. We had one of the suites on the top deck with a huge balcony and the views were spectacular. Note: Remember the adage POSH because the coastal views entering ports are awsome.

The F&B was in the top 3 of all cruises we have done. The spa was awesome, got massages every 4th day, the entertainment was ok, but we don't take cruises for high school musicals...the only negatives were the shore excursions. In a word - awful. Poorly organized, WAY OVER PRICED, amaturish guides (I actually had to correct one guide on facts), bad food, a real rip off. We canceled all our add on extra tours after the first 4 ports and hired local guides, cars and drivers for the remaining 19 days. Also some of the ports are a total waste, like Tulon, just a stop for stop sake it seemed...nothing there, not even decent dining.

Would book the ship again but just for the crusing...I'd do a Trans Atlantic before doing another multi-destination with them, or a river cruise.
