Sail Date: Jan 2016

The Caribbean is not my favorite itinerary but an opportunity to enjoy a week with 18 friends and neighbors plus a really low price brought us back another time. It was also a big plus that we could drive from central Texas to Houston. I enjoy sailing with Princess when I pick a large ship.

The first disappointment was the ridiculously long time it took to board the ship, over an hour and that was with special status (frequent cruiser). The other passengers had a two hour line. We did arrive at peak boarding time and even though Princess indicates on your boarding pass the time you should arrive; no one I knew paid any attention to that. Next time I will plan my arrival for an hour and half before sailing.

Entertainment was so-so except for the show Bravo with Jennifer Fair which was the best production show we have seen on over 35 cruises. It was a breath of fresh air, different from the song and dance shows you usually get. Activities were few and not too good on the 3 sea days. Come to expect good speakers but guess not in the Caribbean.
