This was our first cruise on NCL. We have cruised several times on Carnival and Royal Caribbean. The cabin seemed smaller than on Carnival or Royal Caribbean. There was only 1 120v outlet in the cabin so we couldn't have a clock and my Cpat plugged in at the same time. Our room steward was great and friendly.

The food was passable but not fantastic. The drinks seemed to be a bit pricey, There was supposed to be 2 beer tastings but both were cancelled because the "Unlimited beverage plan" didn't allow enough people to purchase the tasting. Not a big fan of the Free style dining plan. Without an assigned dinner table you don't have the same waiter each night so you don't get to know your waiter or them to know you. On Carnival our waiter knew the dessert we wanted each night without asking even though he did ask.

The service on deck seemed spotty at best. On Carnival there seems be a server coming by every few minutes. Sometimes it seemed to be over 5 minutes before a server even walked by. Other than the shows, there wasn't much to do if you didn't gamble.
