Full disclosure: Travelers include a 5-year-old energetic grandboy and a 58-year-old adventurous grandmom. This was our first cruise ever, so not certain what to expect, I booked a 3-night to the Bahamas. In a word....A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! We loved exploring the ship; the wonderful, non-stop, food and outstanding service all around; the multitude of Disney characters and other great on board entertainment; the very special Pirates IN the Caribbean evening show on deck, and the beautiful fireworks at sea which literally brought tears to my eyes as I snuggled with my g'boy.

We enjoyed the opportunity to swim with the dolphins in the Bahamas (Dolphin Encounters); and not only learn about, but shuffle our feet in the Caribbean with, the sting rays at Disney's Castaway Cay, a private island which was hit with both of us.

The Disney Dream also has an on board children's club which my grandson never made it to since we were both so busy throughout the day. Both embarkation and disembarkation were seamless; Disney staff was incredible. My only regret? Not certain if we would enjoy a cruise, I only booked three nights. We'll definitely be back and next time, enjoy a longer cruise!
