This trip was my Christmas present from my DH and also the first time in three years that we've cruised without our four children! This was my 9th cruise and my DH's 8th one.

Embarkation: This process was fairly painless. The terminal certainly isn't as smooth as Port Canaveral, but it's not nearly as large and they do well with what they have. The people here are VERY friendly and that makes up for any inconveniences that the small terminal may pose.

Rooms: This was the first inside cabin we've ever had. We typically opt for a balcony and I was scared I would hate an inside cabin. I LOVED IT! It was perfectly dark in the room at night and that was perfect for those late mornings of sleeping in. Honestly, I may be the first passenger in history to convert from a balcony lover to a inside cabin lover. We liked the new flat screen TV's that Carnival has added, as well. And, they still have the best bedding!!
