We were on the January 30 Western Caribbean Celebrity Reflection cruise and below is my review with the following riders:

• We were travelling with our five year-old granddaughter and tailored our time towards the things she wanted to do. That meant we didn’t do any of the adult shows or visit the adults-only venues aboard.

• For the same reason we didn’t do any of the specialty restaurants. We considered the Bistro, but given the lukewarm reviews here and the $10 per person upcharge (no discount for children), we decided against it.

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Nice cabin, with a configuration that had the bed beside the bathroom. We prefer the bed beside the balcony, but a small thing.

Port Reviews

Miami

What a blast. The pirates - Black Sparrow and Black Rose (no relation) - took us on an epic tour of the area, showing the adults some of the upscale homes (complete with stories about them) whilst the little ones trained to be pirates and watched for bad guys.

Our granddaughter loved it and wanted to go again right after we docked.

Ocho Rios

An absolutely gorgeous resort with a nice beach and beautiful pool and play area, with a lazy river.

Nassau

Took a horse and buggy tour of the city from one of the vendors at the mouth of the cruise port shopping area.

20 minute tour, guide was very soft spoken and impossible to hear, buggy was dirty.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We'd been here many times and just went out for a short walk before spending the day on the ship.
