Our sail date was Jan. 15 – Jan. 26th. It’s taken me a while to write this review because I am still feeling “shell-shocked” from the experience. The fact that Anthem went through another crazy storm this weekend, motivated me to write this review. I have also read other reviews of our cruise and truly question whether they were on it. One review even said the ship went to Nassau during our cruise dates which it certainly did not.

I have sailed 3 times with RC, been on other cruises and lived on a sail boat for over a year. My husband and I are late forties and we have a teen son. On this trip, we went through 2 storms – one on the way down and one on the way back. I am not sure why not many people have mentioned it but it was an issue for our family. See the end of this review for details.

Embarkation: Do everything online BEFORE you go. Even though we did this, computers were down and there were long lines. We expected this from prior reviews so we were prepared and not upset. The wait in line was about an hour and then about 2 minutes once you handed them your paperwork.
