This was our 3rd carnival cruise. Although I consider the 1st 2 overall better experiences, the dream was still a lot of fun and would do it again in a heartbeat. As usual the food was great, the port experiences were great, the activities and staff were also mostly great. The cruise director Jase was definitely the best weve had.

Only have a couple of gripes. The room steward was the worst weve had. We hardly ever saw him or talked to him. In the past the room steward would always go out of their way to talk and always remembered our names which means a lot to me. we only got towel animals a couple times and he just didn't seem to be very thorough with our room. I never realized how much the room steward add to the cruise experience...until we got a crumby one.

The dining room staff on the dream don't seem as organized and as good. Every night they would bring out something wrong or forget it all together. And one more gripe on carnival in general....it seemed like every time I wanted to go get a snack from the buffet it was closed. This got really frustrating.
