We have been on many cruises, but this one was less than which we are accustomed. The ship is in much need of "maintenance" . Also, I agree with several previous Cruise Critic reviews of the same ship/cruise, service was less than "Carnival" and food quality continues to trend towards mediocre.

Our room, (ocean view) had two overhead "bunk" type pull down beds, (for the two of us) which dictated the room's arrangement and eliminated any "sitting" area. We had one straight back chair. Not a comfortable room and yes, I know, we were not going to be in the room much, but while we were there we want to sit somewhere.

The Chef's Table has always been a GREAT experience, we have been to several. The only problem with this one was the Executive Chef chose not to attend and let an inexperienced underling conduct the event. A lot was missed by the first time guests that did not get the benefit of the EC's extensive experiences..

Cabin 6E

We were not aware that this cabin had TWO "bunk" style pull down beds, which not only made our relaxing on the bed uncomfortable, but dictated the room arrangement and eliminated any sitting area (other than ONE straight back chair).
