Back to Celebrity after cruising several other cruiselines and what a disappointment in our return. I'll start with the good...
Pro's: Our embarkation was one of the best ever...We arrived at the port about noon and was able to immediately board the ship after waiting no longer than 5 minutes in line. Off to a great start. Ship is very classy but doesn't have the open feel that we have previously had on most of the other cruiselines and even our past Celebrity cruises which were on the Century and the Mercury (we actually did the Century twice we enjoyed it so much). Upon entering the ship we went direct to the buffet at the Oceans cafe....what a disappointment but thought maybe it was just the first day...
The stateroom, cabin 9374 was very spacious and the balcony was a little larger and loved the angled view being able to see in both directions. We had the starboard side and I would always suggest the port on a caribbean cruise.....but we knew this so no complaints. Service everywhere on ship was definitely at 4-5 star level with no complaints on that whatsoever....Our cabin steward was excellent as was our waiters in the dining room...we had BangBang for our waiter. No complaints about service, it was great!!
Cabin was very good but not sure why it was really called Concierge level....Didn't see much difference and definitely not worth the price difference....a few apples, orange, and a pear plus a bottle of champagne seemed to be about the only differences we noticed. Loved the location of the cabin and the oversized balcony with its angle was definitely a plus. Cabin service was excellent and a big thank you to our cabin steward for his impeccable service. I would love the cabin again but wouldn't pay price difference for Concierge. Don't waste your money!!!! No special restaurants or anything like Aqua class.....there should be something for your money!!! Storage was good in the cabin.
