So this was our 3rd cruise. The two other times we were on the Celebrity Summit, so this is the basis of my judgement. Having said that, we booked this last minute and didn't really do much research to know how they fared. We knew they were a "4 star" ship, so that gave us some perspective. But we picked Norwegian since they looked to have more kid friendly options than Celebrity, at least based on what read.
We are a family of 4, 2 adults and two kids aged 7 and 9.
General impression
Bit of a long wait in the sun, but par for the course.
Maya Key Private Island. The best day. Quiet relaxing, food and drink were great and snorkeling was amazing.
Long rider to an in land water park. Kids had fun, food was good, service was good, but would have preferred to do something else, but the kids did not want to go to the Kids' Club, so we settled for this... at least it was a nice day.
Too commercial on the port. Should have booked something more cultural, but again, had to tow around kids. We actually spend lots of time on the pool deck on the boat, so was still quite a nice day for us.
Playa Mia Beach Break - what a facility. Rained, but we enjoyed the pools anyways. Food awesome and open bar!! Would definitely come back here!
