Have cruised with Princess for many years and this was our first cruise on this new class of ship. We had an upgraded balcony rear facing and it was lovely as we had the sofa and the large balcony. One thing I really noticed is that they have muh better lighting in the cabins. We are doing the Southern Caribbean on the Regal next month and will have the regular balcony room. I am afraid it will seem really small as the balconies are smaller than the Emerald Class ships and the room is too. Not sure why they did this as the balcony rooms were never large in the first place.

Loved the new pasta/pizza restaurant (included in the cruise fare). It was a great addition to the other offerings. The ship never felt particularly crowded and it was a full voyage. The buffet is much, much better than the old Horizon Court. Much better service stations. The food was good in all the venues we utilized.

There were good shows on board and the Karaoke in the Princess Live theater really worked out well. Just wished they had karaoke more nights and for a little longer period of time instead of just doing the "Voice".

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin D4

Bright, clean, larger than normal balcony. Lacking in drawer space from previous rooms, especially in the little desk.
