I felt compelled to write a review due to all of the bad reviews on this ship. It is a beautiful ship and we had a great vacation. Our background - married couple in our late 40's, traveled without our children, this was our 8th cruise, previously on the smaller Norwegian Sky, the Carnival Triumph (before the major mishap in the Gulf of Mexico), a smaller Royal Caribbean Ship and the Royal Caribbean Mega-Ships Allure of the Seas & Oasis of The Seas.

Embarkation was interesting. We left a nearby hotel at 10:30 figuring that was plenty early to be one of the first on the ship - WRONG. Getting checked in was a breeze and we thought we were heading on the ship - WRONG again. They had not started letting people on the ship yet and the holding room was completely full. We ended up in group 9. Made our way on the ship about 12:00. As a previous reviewer said, you have a better chance at winning the lottery than getting a pass to the Vibe Beach Club! Sold out way before we got on the ship. All in all, the process was not that bad and we were on the ship in about an hour and a half after leaving the hotel! The fun began!
