All in all a great trip. Would have been perfect if we had good weather. But NCL has no control over Mother Nature.
Embarkation. Was fast and easy we were on the ship in about 30 minutes went to the service desk and put cash down on our room. We hate big credit card bills after vacation. They were helpful and courteous . Then off to our room which was ready. Dropped off our carry on bags and off to lunch in the Garden Cafe. Very busy as usual. But enjoyable. Weather was cool with off and on drizzle. The life boat drill was quick and easy once everyone showed up. Then on to explore the ship. We were a family of six my husband and I and our teen to young 20's
We had the ultimate dinning package so we had dinner in all of the specialty restaurants. We loved Cagneys we went there twice. The Filet Mignon and lobster tales hit the spot our kids loved the baked potato soup and the shrimp cocktail and the Oreo cookie cheese cake was a BIG HIT. We also enjoyed Lebistro everyone tried to order something different they they hadn't had before. Some loving their choice but my youngest didn't love the Duck. The food was delicious. Modern I was very good the salad bar was so fresh and the meat was very good. But way to much we were on meat over load. Lacuchina was good. The shrimp risotto was pretty good but kind of generic. But I did hear the steak was delicious. Tenpenyaki was ok didn't love it was loud and the chefs stood back to back and it was like a competition who was louder who could get the jokes out first. Ate most of our breakfasts in ,either the Grand Paciffic or the blue lagoon both very decent. But the Grand Pacific had more selection. That was my husbands favorite.
