We cruised on Radiance of the Seas in December and had a fantastic time. I was looking through reviews to get some first time cruising tips so I hope I can pass tips on to others.

Rooms - we stayed on level 9 which was lovely and quiet. We had a room with a balcony but didn't feel that it was essential to have a balcony. You do not spend a lot of time in your room and there are great deck chairs all over the ship with great views.

Room service - was amazing. The staff work incredibly hard and our room was cleaned and beds made every day. Our son was on the sofa bed. This was collapsed every day by the staff and then remade of an evening. The bathrooms are small but are fine. Showers are not the best with water pressure etc but we felt this was a minor detail.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Very clean and tidy. Small but lovely. Great balcony but would not necessarily have a balcony again.
