Sail Date: Jan 2016

This was our 4th cruise, and first on RCL. Agree with most other Jan/2016 reviews -- ship is beautiful and clean...Guest Services pretty much useless (we were punted several times to resolve problems) and somewhat rude...food OK but nothing special (Good selection but bland).

Our cabin was best of our 4 cruises, but bathroom is vey small. Too many public smoking areas where should be -- like on closed portion of pool deck with poor ventilation. Entertainment was good -- talented singers/dancers -- but little variation. We saw on comedian, and he was third-rate at best. We booked our own excursions via TripAdvisor -- ship excursions were too expensive and somewhat lame. On-board activities fine for kids but limited for adults, and largely aimed to get more money. Fitness center very nice but why charge extra for yoga classes, etc.?

Overall, we were underwhelmed. Not terrible, but definitely not great. Despite the hype, we experienced no improvement compared to past and less expensive cruises on NCL/others. And Norwegian certainly had better food and dining policies.
