Sail Date: Jan 2016
Cabin: Junior Suite

This was my 6th cruise ship, 4th with RCI. The first ship we enjoyed with RCI was the Radiance in 2012 and it had been my intention since then to spend my 60th birthday on her again. It didn't matter where it went or for how long. As a treat my husband booked a junior site (1542).

We stayed at the Radisson Blu the night before boarding, which is only two blocks from Circular Quay. Boarding was fast as we were there early and we were on board at 10.45.

It is a beautiful ship, with a beautiful crew. There was a little bit of noise from the pool deck but not enough to worry about. As we didn't use internet in the room we didn't worry about the broken LAN socket.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Portside midship, close to the Centrum elevator. Coffee maker (although we did not use it). A few teabags, sugar and a couple of small milk pods but no coffee was provided. Other passengers apparently grabbed sachets from the Windjammer. Good sized balcony. Full bath. I use a walking stick because of a knee problem but I was able to step into the shower without any worries. I'm not too sure I would spend the extra money for the JS again though. We have booked a balcony for our next cruise.
