I will start by saying this is my very first time writing a review and felt it necessary as this cruise experience was different than any other of the 14 cruises I have taken.
We were quite excited to be getting this cruise at a great price with the Canadian dollar being so low and the itinerary looked amazing....which it was! Havana was absolutely beautiful with 2 days to explore this intriguing city....Jamaica was fun...laid back...people are kind......Grand Cayman was all about relaxing at the most beautiful beach that I know...7 mile beach...and lastly Cozumel as always found us on an excursion thanks to island marketing that was a complete day tour around the island in our own buggy..with many interesting stops, cold beer and an amazing Mexican lunch made by our tour guide himself!!! His name was Omar Abarca and kudos to Island Marketing to having such a fun ,informative and professional tour guide working for them.....sometimes you never know what you are going to get especially when booking on line.
Now for the actual cruise experience.......The Opera is a smaller ship and was quite nice for its size and very clean..but lacking organization which you will notice especially on sea days..primarily at the buffet and on the deck..it's mad chaos!....... Fairly good food... With a special thank you to the most amazing waiter "Marine"who made our evening meals in the dining room an enjoyable experience....
