Sail Date: Jan 2016
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Large Balcony

We are a retired couple who has sailed with Norwegian many times and it is our favorite cruise line. We have also tried most of the mainstream lines, but enjoy NCL's relaxed atmosphere where we can dine whenever and wherever we want and wear anything from shorts to a coctail dress depending on how we feel. Travelled this time with adult son in our M6 Minisuite with large balcony. Granddaughter had a balcony cabin with her fiancé and two adult grandsons had their own inside cabin.

This is the second time we have booked the M6. Also had it on the Getaway. Love the location on deck 8 close to the Waterfront and everything going on midship. Plenty of storage and the balcony is huge. Our steward intoduced himself on day one and then stayed out of our hair, which is just the way we like it. If we needed something we left a note on the mirror and it was taken care of promptly. Cabin was kept spotless and well stocked.

Arrived somewhere between 10:45 and 11:00 for boarding and walked straight to the desk, no lines. A snafu with the computer system occurred shortly after the boarding process began and it was about a two hour wait before we were actually on the ship. First time we have encountered this in 8 cruises with NCL.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Large Balcony

Great location near the Waterfront, stairs and elevators, and everything going on midship, casino, shops, restaurants. The balcony is huge. 2 lounge chairs and two regular chairs and a table. Partial overhang for some shade and privacy, but you can also be in full sun. The bathroom has a double sink, large glassed in shower ( bigger than mine at home ) with multi body jets and rain shower head.

Port Reviews

Tortola

Due to short cruise day booked with the ship. Did not enjoy the cat over. Quite high speed and very rough. Wet for those who sat down below in the front. The beach was nice. Don't know that I'd book it again. Due to short port day, too rushed.
