Upon arrival at the pier we found it to be a bit crowded and unorganized outside. Once inside, it seemed very organized. The seating area for the embarkation seemed a bit confusing, but we boarded with no problems, and quickly.

The ship is very beautiful and clean. It seems a bit more elegant then the RC ships we have been on. Waiting to get in our room took a little longer then normal, and our luggage never arrived in our room until 7pm which was a bit of a disappointment. Our cabin stewards were wonderful and very attentive to our needs. We had an SY suite which was very nice. The layout of it seemed like we had less space then a JR Suite on RC, but the room seemed more posh then on RC. The balcony was very nice. Closet space and dresser space was sparse for the size of the room. The beds were the most comfortable of any ship I have been on. The bathroom was huge with a nice double sink, whirlpool bathtub, plus a corner stand up shower.

The dinning room was very nice. We did the open seating which worked out very nice since we weren't locked into any time frame to eat. We went when we wanted and never once waited more then 5 minutes for a table. We always chose to eat at a table of 6 or less due to the fact it's hard to talk to everyone at the table if you have more then 6 and your not familiar with those you are first meeting. The menu was nice, but many of the choices were geared towards seafood choices. If your not a huge seafood lover then you still have the option of the daily offerings of steak which was fantastic. The food was always served hot and ready. The waiters were also very good at providing outstanding service. Thumbs up to HAL for a nice clean dinning room.
