We just finish a cruise on the Sunshine and had a wonderful time. We never had to wait in line longer than maybe 5 mins (except on return to Orlando). The shows were fun and very enjoyable. The food in the dining room is on par with Cracker Barrel, very bland and at times cold but was very edible (we brought some seasoned salt and red pepper flakes just to kid it up)......never had to wait for a drink if you wanted it.
The pool area was a bit small and crowded but it wasn't that bad. The room (we had an ocean view) was more than roomy for the two of us, clean and comfortable. We were at the back of the ship and while a bit noisy didn't keep us from getting a good nights sleep. The staff may have been a little standoffish at first but warmed up very quickly and were friendly. The cruise director (Matt) was awesome his wit made the otherwise mundane announcements very entertaining. Our favorite bartender was Valentina (in the atrium bar).....she was extremely dry and we loved it. Dedes in the blue iguana bar (also answered to George) was funny and great as was Tommy who would sing a song at the drop of a hat. In the main dining room Nikola, Milos, Evgren, and Mykola were all very attentive and friendly.
We did eat at the onboard restaurants (Fahrenheit 500, and Ji Ji) one was a steak house and the other was asian both were awesome both in service and food quality and very reasonably priced. Make sure you see the comic show if you are easily offended then skip this or attend the earliest show.....while the comics can be hit or miss like anything. It was a great cruise and we are planning another one already.
