We stayed at the Hampton Inn Hobby airport. Room was reasonable at $88 and included a shuttle from the airport. The hotel was clean and included a continental breakfast. Houston was my first experience with Uber and I am now a HUGE fan!

We flew in the night before embarkation and used Uber for dinner, movie and transportation to the port in Galveston. Fare to Galveston was $45 for 3 people! Every other method of transfer that I looked at was well over $120 each way, not including tips! Another tip... Uber does not accept/expect tips.

Embarkation went well. Here's another tip... Do not show up to port before your scheduled show time or you will be shuffled to end of the line. Pretty darn simple folks.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8F

Nice clean room. Balcony overlooking Red Frog pub deck was interesting, but not very private.

To get coffee, juice and water we had to climb three level of stairs. Not a big deal since we are not afraid of stairs...
