Very disappointed in this cruise and ship. Not many activities to do onboard unless you like trivia a lot, quality of food not good - felt like eating same thing over and over. Staff not helpful and sometimes rude. Service very slow (slow getting drinks, slow clearing tables, etc.). Shore excursions expensive and not worth the money.

Too many things on ship "cost extra". Carnival has cut back on so many activities and staff that the guest is now paying for it with poor service. Have only traveled on Carnival and am always happy with the cruise and ship but not this ship or cruise.

Being at sea for 4 days straight with not much to do, weather being cold and windy, did not make for a fun time. Also, Pacific Ocean is very very rough in January and ship constantly rocked and rolled until we got to Hawaii.

Cabin 6A

Cabin was okay.

Port Reviews

Maui

Arrived after luau had started, missed most of it due to a fire on the mountain and the road being open and closed. Sat on bus for 2 1/2 hours.

Ensenada

took a Hoppa-On Hoppa-Off bus from the cruise terminal....paid $20 to ride all day and took you to 6 stops- waterfall, Japanese gardens, black sand beach, shopping, etc.

Kauai

Went to beach and it was beautiful....lots of shops and food.

Honolulu

Met family in Honolulu and they did a tour of the island.

Kona (Kailua Bay)

Thought we were visiting a coffee plantation but turned out to be a cheap gift shop. Not impressed with this excursion.

Hilo

Took a Hoppa-On Hoppa-Off bus from cruise terminal for $20...could ride all day and had 6 stops, shops, black sand beach, Japanese gardens, etc.
