Cabin: Concierge Class 1

We spent two weeks on the Eclipse in January and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The ship has gotten a few new touches and can still use a few more but it's still a lovely ship!

Service in the cabins - Concierge Class - continues to be great with all needs attended to. For example, we like to have a pitcher of water and a bucket of ice all day long and in the evening.

Select Dining is still our favorite but we were disappointed to learn that they now block out the 7 PM time and no one can make a reservation for that hour. Also, one can only reserve one day in advance. Most nights we went to the dining room at about 6:45 PM and had no problems being seated. Portions are smaller than in the past but it is not a problem for us. Menu variety, however, is less than it has been in the past. Lamb dishes were served three nights in a row. The Top Chef Menu is awful - and all at our table that night agreed! Yummy cold, fruit soups seem to have disappeared.
