Great ship. Enjoyed the cruise, but just too many people!

Overall I had a wonderful cruise. Shame the weather for the first 2 sea days wasn't great!

Loved the ship in general. Very contemporary feel, and obviously is brand new. My studio cabin for a solo traveller was a great idea, beautifully designed and well equipped. It did not feel too small. My cabin steward was an absolute star - Uriel.

The food on the ship was really good for mass catering. I mainly ate in the buffet - breakfast and lunch, and in the complimentary dining rooms. Being honest I did feel somewhat resentful that there were SO MANY chargeable restaurants. It just felt as though they wanted more and more money all the time. Even snack items in the Atrium cafe were chargeable. However, the food in Food Republic was great, and the pricing quite good as a la carte. I thought generally the menus were overpriced, considering that there is surely a baseline food cost included in the cruise price.

Studio Stateroom

Cabin T1

My cabin, for a solo traveller was very well equipped although no mini bar. The bed was very comfortable. I spent very little time in there. It was the first cruise I had experienced without a balcony, and it made me realise that it was fine to be inside! The stateroom attendant kept it immaculate. I could not have wanted more.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

I did a walking tour of the town which was interesting. Not really a great deal to see. I did not enjoy all the jewellery shops.

Tortola

I took a taxi to the beach with my son and daughter in law. Had a lovely time. However the ship was only there for a few hours and we had to board at 2.30pm. Very frustrating.

Nassau

I did not enjoy Nassau. Tatty and in need of refurbishment from beginning to end. I did not go to Atlantis resort due to lack of time. I did a pre planned walking tour of the central district as on the tourist map, planned in advance. I would not wish to return. Again we only had half a day - arriving at 12.30, and rebounding by 6.30pm. Fortunately there was no tendering on this cruise.

Miami

I cannot really comment. I arrived the night before the cruise and stayed in a hotel, then went to the ship.
