I totally believe you get what you pay for. Being avid and seasoned cruisers (19+ times on Royal, Celebrity, Norwegian, Princess, Holland America), this has to be the worse cruise overall that my wife and I have ever been on! Our choice was made because it was a 10 day cruise. We picked up the ship in San Juan and were finished with the embarkation by noon. The welcome aboard lunch was so-so but, the lettuce for my salad had brown streaks in it. We were told we could go to our suite but upon arrival the cabin steward made all kind of excuses why it was not ready.

The food in the dining room left a lot to be desired and there was not a big selection for the entrees. Breakfast was another story. Go to the dining room for better service. The buffet...ugh. Same food for 10 days straight. Water, tea and strange tasting ice tea was the free norm. The lines were unreal to get into the dining room every night. We found the food selection was much better in the dining room as apposed to the buffet. We has anytime dining and never waited more than a minute to get a table for 2. Must say the steakhouse (pay) food was of a somewhat better quality and the service was very good considering we had to pay for it.

As to the entertainment, it was the usual with the singers and dancers trying to act like they had "soul"! What a joke. The island tours were the usual and we did what we always do, caught a open air taxi or van at the pier. One disappointing item was the "pay to use the public bathrooms" on most of the islands!
