The Viking Sea was an outstanding, new, state of the art ship that exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and well appointed - including heated floors in the bathroom. We especially appreciated the ample storage in the room.

The staff throughout the ship provided superb hospitality answering questions and meeting our every need. The shore excursions met a wide variety of interests and were right up our alley as we want to see the history, architecture, art, and museums in a city. The local guides were all very knowledgeable and with the communications system that they had one was able to hear everything without having to be right next to the guide.

We also enjoy fine dining and the choices and quality of the food and service were excellent. We especially enjoyed both specialty restaurants that were available at no additional cost. Embarkation as well as disembarkation were easy and quick. Viking is a company that knows how to take care of their customers and one we will be using again for our ocean as well as river cruising.
