I was checking out various prices and the price for this cruise caught my eye and I talked to my Mom and we decided to invite my sisters and make it a family vacation. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The food was very good, both at the buffet and at the Windstar, the staff was excellent and always smiling...our cabin was kept clean and we always had ice even though there was no ice machine. I'm still in shock at how nice the shower was, the water was always hot and the pressure was strong. We had Olga as our attendant in the Windstar restaurant, and she was nothing less than wonderful. Normally we would eat breakfast and lunch at the buffet and dinner at the Windstar...the line for the buffet was never too long, and the food was always great. We were all shocked to hear that there were 350 kids on our cruise, cause we never seen but maybe one or two. The decks and bathrooms on the decks were always nice and clean. I would have liked to see a few more crew members involved in the debarkation process, but seriously I don't know how I can complain about that either, the boat docked at 8 (or was scheduled to) and I was on 45 North by 9:15. I put on my comment card that the cruise was absolutely wonderful and I don't know what I could've done to make it any better and I totally meant that then and still do. I can't wait to go back. Oh and I guess I could comment...I went to several of the daytime activities and found them to be fun, and I went to several of the night shows and found them enjoyable...I loved the comedy and still remember the one where the guy said 'if there's one crew announcement that YOU should listen to it's 'this is a message for the crew, EVACUATE'....I still love that one...didn't really care for the push on gay people, but I guess we all have our agendas that we're trying to pull off... All in All, I'll book again...and so has most of my family. 'GO TEXAS'!!

Cabin Review

Cabin 4R

we had an inside room with 4 people and I could not believe that they could set that room up to maximize floor space and it was totally doable...so glad we did it that way and saved the extra cabin money!
