My family backed from this west Caribbean cruise for almost two weeks. We still talk about it all the time. It's a wonderful experience because we chose th haven, and it's a very smart choice.
My family are 5 and flew from Toronto to Miami two days before the sail. We arrived the terminal 11:30AM and it's probably the busiest check-in time of the embarkation. There is a little room with sofa and coffee table for Haven guests check-in. There are two counters and both are busy. You gave your information to the staff and you can sit down and wait for your name get called. I saw another Haven waiting room across the hallway, but I haven't get time to check that room yet, a staff checked us in already. Almost right away another staff lead us and another family start boarding. Passed the main check-in hall through the "priority boarding pass", we saw there are hundreds of people waiting in line for check-in.
About 12:00 at noon, we officially boarded Norwegian Getaway. There is a staff-operated elevator for Haven guests only. We took it to deck 16, passed the big "Haven" LED sign and key-card entrance door, sat in the Haven lounge a and wait for our room get ready. The concierge, Virginia, were waiting for us and introduced the Haven area and service briefly. Drinks and snacks were served. We get into our room about 12:30.
Very nice, specially the main bathroom. Did I mention that the toiletries' brand is " Bvlgari"?
Nice island but that day was windy.
Nice excursion. The fall looks scary but very safe to climb.
Same trip, the snorkeling site just 500 feet from stingray sand bar. Very nice and protected coral reef.
Went to stingray sand bar and snorkeling. Recommend to everyone.
It's not a national park, but more a adventure beach park. Nice snorkeling but bring your own gear would be better. They also have Dolphin swim for extra fee.
