This was our 4th (of 26) Celebrity cruise and we were very happy with the ship, the value and the experience.
Embarkation was a bit slow, they seemed to lack organization and the whole idea of lining up a second time to embedded the picture into the card key was ridiculous and unnecessary. Last year, when I checked in for a Princess cruise, this was all done at a single check in stop. I am sure that Celebrity can invest in some technology to keep us from this frustrating and for some confusing situation.
Once on board there was no further stress. I was able to book the shore excursion we wanted in Cozumel immediately and snag a good reservation in the Tucson Grill for the first night for a decent discount. We boarded at about 1PM and so were able to go directly to our FV cabin with one of the side wing balconies. WE LOVED IT!!
This corner Aft cabin on deck 7 is fantastic! We were able to upgrade from 2A the week before we cruise for a nominal amount and were happy we did. The Veranda is HUGE. The cabin is the size of a standard hotel room. So, for just two of us we had plenty of storage and lots and lots of room to stretch out and relax. We had a pair of the best ever cabin stewards (Charly and Kevin). The worst part of this cabin is that it only comes with the very small standard bathroom.
