This is my fourth cruise, I've had three previous with Carnival and this was my first with Royal Caribbean. I sailed with a large group of friends.

Embarkation was a bit chaotic but I expected that after reading the reviews of Port Everglade. We began around 12:30 and got on the ship closer to 2PM. Our rooms were ready so we could drop off our carry-on luggage. The Windjammer buffet was packed and didn't really have any tables available.

The Good: I really liked the ship layout. It was easy to get around, didn't take long walking from forward to aft. The elevators came pretty quickly most of the time. There were lots of outdoor walking areas to get to and many forward and aft views outside. I enjoyed the dancers at the shows. The rooms were clean and decent. Our room attendant was excellent. I thought the food in the Windjammer buffet was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some days the food there was better than the dining room (not saying much but its true).

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin N

Cozy and clean. Plenty of room for clothes. Bathroom shower was a bit tight but doable. Two outlets available at the vanity (120 volt) which came in handy.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Embarkation and debarkation were both somewhat time consuming and chaotic.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We just did the touch tank side and had some lunch. Our taxi driver got us a rate to get in for $10 each. It was fun feeding the turtles and holding the babies.
