We enjoyed the cruise. Prefer the Breakaway. Do not know why there is a charge for room service. We have always enjoyed breakfast on our balcony but did not want to pay the service charge so we did breakfast in O'Sheeans. We did not feel the food was as tasty as our last cruise. Service was usually good, no complaints there.
There should be a no smoking section in the casino. We did find the slot machines in the Bliss and loving called it the "Grave Yard Slots". The price for the SPA is too much. This is the first time we bought a pass. We feel that some of the extras should be offered at a discount for SPA pass holders. Our room steward Nate, was super. Did not miss a thing.
Entertainment was great for the most part. Loved the Comedian Tim. Would go see him anytime. The magician was, in our opinion, poor. We left. He seemed to be interested in prancing around the stage and showing-off his body! He also tried to be funny...PLEASE, the leave the funny stuff to Tim.
Cabin Review
Mid-Ship Balcony
The cabin was perfect for us. We had an adjoining room with my sister and that made the trip nice for all of us. You need to do something about the lighting. We are readers and it is really too dark to read in bed. I had to use the light on my phone. Need a weather channel on the TV. It would also be nice if the programming was listed somewhere so we would know what TV programs and what movies are on. I know we did not go on a cruise to watch TV but sometimes it is nice to watch. Music channels would be a nice touch. You know, classical, Country Western, pop, Broadway etc. Our room was quiet except for the hangers clanging but we fixed that!
Port Reviews
San Juan
There was not enough time in the stops to really enjoy them. The longest stop was at the visitor center..I guess that they wanted us to but things.
St. Thomas
This was Abi beach which was wonderful. We wish we could have stayed there for hours. Wonderful crew on the boat that took us there.
Tortola
We had to pay extra for umbrella and chairs. I do not remember reading this in the summary of the excursion.
