We, and a group of others did the 2-night sampler cruise out of Brisbane to nowhere.

We would have thought that Royal Caribbean would have been trying pretty hard to impress guests and travel agents on its inaugural commencement of cruises from Australia with the Legend of the Seas. This however could not be more wrong.

Upon embarking, their system was in melt-down leaving passengers standing in queues for hours. Once in board, the under trained bar staff working at a snails pace could not keep up with anything like the needs of Aussie passengers expectations to get a drink. We bought one of their drinks packages which seemed like good value, until we realised it was not much good to you unless you wanted to spend half your cruise standing in line for a drink! Everyone was complaining and all the managers could tell us was that there were not enough trained bar staff on board.
