Here's a quick rundown of what we did and some recommendations.

Embarking - we got on the ship fairly late, around 6pm. We had flown in the night before but decided to play around at the beach at the Hilton hotel instead of checking in early. You'll find out below that we were glad we did. Had just enough time to explore, unpack, and dress for dinner. One tip - if you're looking to bring booze onboard, there is a small truck right outside the terminal selling it duty free. Buy a bottle there and back it in your suitcase protected with your clothing. 3 folks in our group did it and everyone got theirs - maybe the tip for the bag guys helped? And $11.50 for a liter of Absolute is a damn good price! We ended up only opening 1 bottle and gave the other two to our room attendant. Just too inconvenient to go back to the room to mix drinks.

Day 1 - St Thomas. We went to gorgeous Magen's Bay. Definitely had fun. A little crowded. Taxi was $8 each way and it was $4 to get into the beach. Next time I may try to find a free beach closer to port. Definitely was nice to have the bar onsite making the frozen drinks all day though! There is a Kmart near the ship if you need to grab some misc supplies.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

No complaints. Quiet location. A long way from most activities, but was never that big of a deal. Bathroom was a little musty smelling when the door was closed for a long time. Overall a pretty nice room.
