The Viking Star is a beautiful ship. Very comfortable, yet classy decor. Food and staff were exceptional. Even when there was a last minute port change due to security concerns, they made complimentary shore excursion options available so that you didn't lose out on seeing new places.

Embarkation was the smoothest we have ever experienced across 6 different cruise lines. Debarkation was still somewhat chaotic as is usual on most cruises.

Complimentary wifi was good enough for email but not much else. TV movie options were plentiful with lots of new releases. Would be nice if there was at least small currency change on the ship for tour tips, etc but wasn't a problem as we had planned ahead knowing that they didn't do any currency exchange on the ship.
