Love this ship! Love this crew! Love this cruise! We embarked on a December cruise on this ship. The ship's crew offers excellent service even BEFORE you board the ship. This bomb threat happened on our cruise: goo.gl/H83q7q. While everyone was anxiously waiting in the Florida heat to board the ship, the crew handed out plenty of water bottles to keep us hydrated. When the ship was finally given the "all clear" by authorities, they promptly got everyone checked in and on board! Great handling of an "emergency" situation!
This will be our 4th cruise and we've been on two brands: Royal Caribbean and Celebrity
This ship is actually quite small in comparison to Royal Caribbean's ships. However, it's more luxurious! The public restrooms are designed with surfaces that feel at home in 5 star hotels and resorts. Every restroom has an attendant who makes sure that it's spotless after every use. Instead of paper towels, they hand you warm cotton towels to dry your hands with.
We stayed in an Ocean-View Balcony Stateroom and it was slightly larger than your average O-V BS. Our stateroom attendant did a great job of keeping our place clean & tidy.
We stayed in Ft. Lauderdale the night before and drove into Miami the morning of embarkation.
We had a bomb threat on our cruise, so we left Miami late and got into San Juan late. There wasn't much to do, most restaurants were closed. We walked around the city. It was nice but not too clean. There were some homeless people on the streets. Not much to do here.
We spent a day at the free beach. We rented lawn chairs and umbrella for $10, did some snorkeling and relaxed. It was fun. Lots of fish! But, the beach was rather crowded as well.
We went to Divi/Little Bay beach. It was a quiet small beach where we just relaxed. No snorkeling here. Took a cab for $12 for 2.
