We read earlier reviews and were worried. There were 22 family members traveling together, including my mother and small children. We found the escape to be a wonderful experience for young and old. The kids absolutely loved the water slides and kid pool as well as the high ropes adventure. They never had to worry with rides or activities being shutdown.
My mother loved the shows and activities in the Atrium. The seating was limited, but not terrible. We did not find this large ship too crowded and were able to visit any of the dining venues we wished and we were always able to find lounge chairs at the pool. There usually was a wait for the elevators, but it was not bad. The only crowds we did not appreciate were when we left the ship the last day. It was unorganized and we would have missed our early flight due to the crowds if it had not been cancelled for weather.
The only other con was that the Million Dollar Quartet cancelled, which I see has happened before. They need to get an act that can perform every week. We were looking forward to that specific attraction.
It was small, but we really appreciated the balcony! Clean and plenty of storage for two.
papa Bear gave us a personal island tour. I highly recommend him and his tour. He customizes the tour to whatever you would like to do and gives insight and suggestions on where to go
The island is beautiful. We opted to shop and not take any excursions
Crowded and dirty. Shopped downtown but was not impressed with the island
